Girona agreed on cooperation with the two-meter Ukrainian forward

Spanish «Girona» agreed on the terms of a personal contract with the forward of the Ukrainian U-20 national team Oleksandr Pishtur Jr. This was reported by journalist Ihor Burbas.

The parties have successfully discussed all the details of a long-term cooperation, and now everything depends on when exactly the 20-year-old footballer will join the Catalan club.

At the moment, there are already three forwards in the composition of “Girona”, so an option is being considered in which the transfer of Pištur will take place after the end of the 2025/26 season.

The contract of the Ukrainian belongs to the Hungarian “Gyor”, which previously agreed to the transfer of the forward to the Spanish championship.

Pishtur is a pupil of Chernihiv “Desna”, he also played for the “Munkach” club in Ukraine. In February 2022, he moved to the Hungarian championship, where he played for Kishvarda and Puskas Academy.

In July 2025, he signed a contract with FC Gyor, agreeing to cooperate until June 2028. The transfer fee for Pishtur is 250 thousand euros, but Girona will pay about one million for the Ukrainian.

The forward played two games for the Ukrainian U-21 national team and is known for his solid height of 2.04 meters.

Oleksandr Pishtur Jr. will become the fourth Ukrainian in the Catalan team and will join goalkeeper Vladyslav Krapyvtsov, winger Victor Tsygankov and forward Vladyslav Vanat.
