Roman confirmed. Zinchenko signed a contract with Ajax

Ukrainian football player Oleksandr Zinchenko successfully passed the medical tests and completed all the formal procedures for the transfer to Ajax. Famous insider Fabrizio Romano writes about it.

According to the insider, after a medical examination, the parties agreed on the terms of the deal, and the defender signed a contract with the Amsterdam club.

Arsenal also confirmed the move, signing all the necessary paperwork worth €1.5 million. In the next few hours, Ajax plans to publish an official statement about the Ukrainian’s joining the team.

Zinchenko spent the first half of the 2025/26 season as part of Nottingham Forest – 10 matches (in all tournaments), without scoring.

Ajax is third in the 2025/26 Netherlands Championship table with 37 points, 16 and two points behind PSV (53) and Feyenoord (39), respectively.
