One of the main elements of the conflict between the Supervisory Board of the Lviv IT Cluster and its former CEO Stepan Veselovsky was the fate of the trademark IT Arena. This is one of the most famous IT conferences in Ukraine, which brings together Ukrainian and global specialists, startups, investors and representatives of technological business.

Veselovsky stated that IT Arena was his private initiative even before it was included in the portfolio of Cluster projects. He considered the brand his intellectual property. Instead, the Supervisory Board insisted that the trademark belonged to the association from the beginning, and Veselovsky himself was never its official owner.
However, after the meeting of the parties on January 29, it was announced that the IT Arena trademark remains at the disposal of the Lviv IT Cluster. The asset transfer process is ongoing.
