Oleksandr Bondarev became the first in the practice stage of Formula 4

On Friday, January 30, the second practice took place before the third stage of Formula-4 Middle East. Participating in the prestigious off-season championship is the pilot of the F1 Williams Racing academy, Ukrainian Oleksandr Bondarev, who after the two previous stages leads the overall standings of pilots.

The Ukrainian rider leads the standings with 102 points, with three wins to his credit and a total of four podium finishes at the Yas-Marina circuit in two weeks.

This weekend, the championship arrived in Dubai, where the third stage of the competition will take place. Practices are traditionally held on the eve of key sessions.

In the first of them, Bondarev showed the second result, conceding to the protege of Ferrari, Albi Larsen. The Ukrainian finished the second training session in first place.

Today will also be the final practice of the stage, and tomorrow at 06:00 the qualifications will start, which will determine the starting positions for the first and last races of the weekend.
