It is gloomy with snow and rain in Ukraine: the forecast for January 30

Temperatures on this day will drop to 7-12°C of frost in the North, while rain is expected in the South, which could be heavy in some areas.

In the central and Kharkiv regions, ice and wet snow are forecast, and the temperature in the rest of the territory will range from 0 to -5°C.

After January 30, the country will face an extreme cold, when the arctic anticyclone will bring abnormally low temperatures. In the period from February 1 to 3, a temperature drop to -30°C may be recorded in a number of regions.

On the roads of the country, except in the south and southeast, there is ice; fog in places at night and in the morning in most of the southern, Kirovohrad and Dnipropetrovsk regions.
The wind is northeasterly (southeasterly in the east and southeast of the country), 7-12 m/s, in the northeast during the day gusts of 15-20 m/s in places.

It is cloudy in the Kyiv region and the capital. A little snow in places. There is ice on the roads. The wind is northeast, 7-12 m/s. The temperature in the region during the day is up to 7-12° of frost; in Kyiv during the day up to 9-11° of frost.

The State Service for Emergency Situations (SES) has already announced the III level of danger, which indicates a threat to people’s health and the need to prepare for difficult weather conditions.

From February 1, the territory of Ukraine will cover a powerful Arctic anticyclone that will bring abnormal frosts. The peak of cold weather is expected from February 1 to 3, 2026.

In Ukraine during the next three days is expected changeable weather with precipitation, ice and fluctuating temperatures.
