Svitolina played in the semi-finals of the Australian Open for the first time in her career. In Melbourne, Elina managed to beat Kristina Buksha, Linda Klimovichova, Diana Schneider, Mirra Andreeva and Coco Goff. In the 1/2 final match, the Ukrainian lost to Arina Sobolenko.
From Monday, Elina will move up to No. 10 in the WTA rankings, returning to the top ten for the first time since 2021.
