As The Hill writes, the statement was made during an event organized by the Treasury Department in Washington. The summit was devoted to the launch of the Trump Accounts program – special investment accounts for newborn Americans. The 43-year-old singer spoke straight from the stage:
“I will say that I’m probably the biggest supporter of the president. And that’s not going to change. The hate or what people say doesn’t affect me at all. It actually motivates me to support him even more, and it’s going to motivate all of us to support him even more.”
According to the rapper, “they will not allow Trump to be shamelessly mocked and discredited,” because “there is a great power behind him, and God protects him.” In response, the president publicly thanked the rapper, calling her “the greatest and most successful female rapper in history.”
