The last round of the Europa League. Who will play with whom: schedule, standings

On the evening of January 29, the matches of the 8th round of the main round will take place UEFA Europa League 2025/26.

On this game day, all 18 matches of the tour will be played at the same time, at 22:00 Kyiv time.

In the 8th round, matches of particular interest are: Nottingham Forest – Ferencvaros, Panathinaikos – Roma, Aston Villa – RB Salzburg, Porto – Rangers.

Ukrainian football players will not play in this round. Roma forward Artem Dovbyk is injured and underwent surgery, and Oleksandr Zinchenko has been excluded from Nottingham Forest’s application.

Tournament standings: Lyon, Aston Villa (18 points each), Freiburg (17), Midtjylland, Braga (16 each), Roma, Ferencvaros (15 each), Betis, Porto (14 each), Genk, Crvena Zvezda (13 each), PAOK, Stuttgart, Celta, Bologna (12 each), Nottingham Forest, Viktoria Plzen, Fenerbahce, Panathinaikos (11 each).

These 19 teams guaranteed themselves a ticket to the playoffs. Lyon and Aston Villa with 18 points advanced to the 1/8 finals directly.

According to the results of the 8 rounds, the 8 best teams will go directly to the 1/8 finals. Teams ranked 9-24 will play in the round of 16. Clubs ranked 25-36 will leave the tournament.

The final of the Europa League will take place on May 20, 2026 in Istanbul, Turkey, at the Besiktas stadium.
