The contract was signed without conducting tender procedures due to the lack of competition, as its conclusion was determined by technical reasons.
According to the terms of the contract, the university undertakes to return up to 40% of the cost for each involved student. Foreigners will be trained in English, although the official website states that training in the specialty “Avionics” is not provided. However, this program is part of an educational project jointly initiated with Shenyang Aerospace University of the People’s Republic of China.
The Kharkiv Aviation Institute considers this initiative a component of “educational diplomacy”, which opens up new opportunities for international cooperation in the field of engineering education. Further stages of project implementation will lead to the integration of international standards in the training of specialists on the territory of Ukraine, which can positively affect the development of the aviation industry in the country.
