“Kyiv received new generators to restore energy capacity”, — write: sport.ua
“Kyiv received from Poland 130 generators of various capacities, which, in the conditions of the energy crisis in Ukraine and the capital, will allow the city to strengthen the level of stability of critical objects and institutions of the social sphere.
Funds for these generators were collected by Polish volunteers. In 10 days, 60,000 Poles handed over 8 million zlotys (almost 2 million euros).
In particular, the capital received:
• 1 diesel generator FD 600 D with a capacity of 600 kW
• 1 FD 80 B diesel generator with a capacity of 80 kW
• 20 FOGO FV20000TE / TRE generators with a capacity of 20 kW each
• 108 FOGO F12000iSG generators with a capacity of 12 kW each.
The total capacity of the transferred equipment is 2,376 kW.
Thanks to the organizers of the gathering, volunteers and everyone who cares! Such support is an example of the unity of Ukrainians and Poles, effective cooperation and humanity in this emergency situation.
The first batch of generators purchased with charity money arrived today. We expect the next one in the near future. Another aid from Warsaw is also on its way – another 90 generators.
Let me remind you that since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Ukraine has been receiving help from international partners. Poland became one of the key ones.
Thanks to the Poles, Ukrainians received a lot of humanitarian aid. Including, for the sake of energy supply. As well as medical equipment, food and other necessary resources,” Klitschko noted.
