The Mirage 2000-5 transfer program continues successfully: as of January 2026, pilot and ground crew training at Nancy-Aucher is in its final stages for new crews. It will be recalled that Great Britain will provide additional assistance to Ukraine with air defense systems, missiles and in the production of interceptor drones, and France has promised additional Mirages.
In the near future, Ukraine will receive Swedish Gripen fighters, as well as additional F-16 and French Mirage aircraft.
Ukraine also received the first American F-16 fighter jets in August 2024.
