Details: Two diplomats told the publication that Fico, one of the few EU leaders who often supports Trump’s stance on Europe’s weaknesses, was concerned about the US president’s “psychological state”.

They said Fitzo used the word “dangerous” to describe how the US president appeared during their one-on-one meeting at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida on January 17.
Diplomats said the Slovakian prime minister made his remarks during a separate informal meeting between some leaders and top EU officials, rather than during formal round-table talks.
The publication says that diplomats from four different EU governments and senior EU officials have said they don’t know what Trump said to Fico that prompted his reaction.
“Fico’s comments are particularly relevant, as he is one of the most pro-Trump politicians in Europe, who in a Facebook video after the meeting in Mar-a-Lago praised his access to the US president and expressed support for Washington’s approach to the Russian-Ukrainian war. A year ago, Fico spoke at a conference of conservative political action and told Americans that “your president is doing Europe a great service,” the newspaper writes.
A spokesman for Fico did not respond to multiple requests for comment from Politico. At the same time, the spokeswoman of the White House, Anna Kelly, said that “this is completely fake news from anonymous European diplomats who are trying to be relevant.” “The meeting at Mar-a-Lago was positive and productive,” she emphasized.
An unnamed senior White House administration official who attended the meeting between Trump and Fizzo said he could not recall any awkward moments or awkward exchanges, and that the meeting Fizzo requested “was pleasant, normal, and included a few light-hearted exchanges that were captured by the White House photographer.”
We will remind: On January 27, it became known that Fizo announced the country’s refusal to join Donald Trump’s newly created Peace Council.
“I say now from myself: I believe that the Slovak Republic should reject this invitation with great gratitude so that we don’t waste any more time on it. Despite this, Slovakia will belong to the countries that have always called and will call for peace. You know that in the case of Gaza, and in the case of Ukraine, and in the case of other countries, we say: a peaceful solution, a peaceful solution and once again a peaceful solution,” the head of the Slovak government said.
