Four policemen were killed in the Cherkasy region during the arrest of a murder suspect.

Rusinov’s former brother-in-law, Ihor Nyshchyk, indicated on the existence of a conflict between Rusinov and a deputy of the Korsun City Council, believing that the causes of the tragedy are a number of systemic problems in law and order.

According to Nyshchyk, this is Serhiy Rusinov, with whom the author of the post served during the full-scale war in the 158th and 198th battalions.

“He is the nephew of the Hero of Ukraine Vasyl Sergienko. Pravdurub Criminal cases have been opened against him in Russia,” Nyshchik says about Rusinov.

Nyshchyk also expressed doubts about Rusinov’s position, claiming that the information about drugs allegedly discovered during the search is an attempt to blacken the identity of the deceased.

According to Nyshchik, Rusinov was written off due to his health. He also notes that the deceased had a personal conflict with Vitaly Storozhuk, a member of the Korsun City Council.

The author of the post emphasizes the deputy’s political past and mentions his participation in pro-Russian events, and also claims that there were mutual threats between the parties.

Separately, he mentions the episode with the burning of the deputy’s car and the reaction of the law enforcement officers to this event, questioning the qualification of the case.

“It was Rusinov who burned Storozhuk’s car. The police interpreted it as an attempted murder. Storozhuk threatened Rusinov and vice versa,” he wrote.

He called for a rethinking of approaches to work with veterans and noted that the real causes of the tragedy lie in the political context, and not in the actions of the direct participants.

At the same time, the author of the post notes that, according to rumors, Storozhuk himself could have been involved in the arson, but expresses his own doubts about this version.

“Some say that Storozhuk himself set fire to his car and blew it up to frame Serhiy. Perhaps. But I have doubts. Such people will choke for a penny. Sergey made his choice. He died himself. Killed, according to acquaintances, good police officers. Honest, normal guys. Who wins? Storozhuk,” the post says.

The former comrade also spoke harshly about the actions of law enforcement agencies and the responsibility of the police leadership.

“Does the leadership of the Cherkasy police understand that the policemen who died today are also on their conscience?” he wrote.

In addition, he questioned the emergence of information about drugs in the case of Rusinov.

In the Cherkasy region, during a special operation to detain a man wanted for murder, he opened fire on law enforcement officers. The shooter was a former military man.

A cache of weapons and drugs were found with the shooter who killed four police officers in the village of Nekhvoroshch of the Cherkasy district during a special operation.
