“Two football players remained in the team from the fall squad”, — write: sport.ua
Jovan Markoski left the position of head coach of Hirnyk-Sport, returning to his homeland, where in the fall he had a new addition to his family. Now the “Vorskli” legend works with the U-17 team in the Serbian club “Radnički” (Obrenovac).
According to our information, Markoski’s assistant Pavlo Rebenok does not plan to stay in Horishnyi Plavnyi either.
As a result of the unsuccessful performance in the autumn part of the season, “Hirnyk-Sport” said goodbye to such performers as Andrushko, Vasylchenko, Grek, Zlatyev, Karas, Kozak, Lavrus, Plis, Pokas, Skrypkevych, Sorochan, Stetsyuk, Taranenko, Tkach, Khachatryan and Yarovy. Kozlov, Burakov and three Nigerian legionnaires – Effiong, Odog and Chukwuemeka – also left the team.
Only defender Popovych and attacker Polyukhovych remained.
“Hirnyk-Sport” occupies the 9th place in Group B of the Second League (out of 11). In 19 matches, the team scored 9 points. In the first round after the resumption of the championship (base date — March 21), the representative of Poltava Oblast should play at home with “Chaika” from Petropavlovsk Borshchagivka.
