22 people were injured as a result of a Russian drone attack on the city of Odesa on the night of January 27.

Lysak’s direct speech: “At night, the enemy carried out a massive attack on Odesa with attack UAVs. As a result of the shelling, infrastructure objects, residential buildings, a kindergarten, a shop and a construction site were damaged. 22 people were injured, among them 14 – with a mild degree of severity, who were given help on the spot.”

The State Emergency Service added that a 2-story residential building was damaged as a result of the attack. At another address, an apartment on the second floor of a 2-story building was destroyed. Apartments from the second to fourth floors in a 4-story residential building were also destroyed.

“Due to the impact on the 9th floor, fires broke out on the fourth and fifth floors. The cultural and religious building was damaged, the windows in the neighboring buildings were broken, and cars were damaged,” the report says.

According to the State Emergency Service, 5 children were among the victims.

According to the head of the MBA, operational headquarters have been deployed in the city.

“People are being provided with all the necessary assistance. Employees of the Housing and Communal Services (HKS) are eliminating the consequences of the attack. Residents of the affected buildings are being assisted in filing documents to receive compensation under the state program isRecovery, as well as from the city budget,” Lysak said.
