The court rejected Tymoshenko’s appeal for bail of UAH 33 million, but allowed free movement

The Appeals Chamber rejected Yulia Tymoshenko’s complaint regarding the bail of 33 million hryvnias. At the same time, she was allowed to communicate with people’s deputies and move freely through the territory of Ukraine. This is reported by Suspilne news. The politician’s lawyer called the preventive measure “unfounded” and asked to explain the origin of such an amount. The Appeals Chamber rejected Yulia Tymoshenko’s complaint regarding the bail of 33 million hryvnias. At the same time, she was allowed to communicate with people’s deputies and move freely through the territory of Ukraine.

The politician’s lawyer called the preventive measure “unfounded” and asked to explain the origin of such an amount. The prosecutor, in turn, requested an increase in bail to 50 million hryvnias and the appointment of an electronic bracelet.

Previously, Tymoshenko paid the full amount of the bail. She is accused of bribing people’s deputies to vote.

Yulia Tymoshenko is under trial in a case involving alleged bribery of people’s deputies.

Also, the court chose Yulia Tymoshenko as a preventive measure in the form of bail.
