Sensation in the Volleyball Cup of Ukraine. The semi-final pairs have been formed

On Saturday, January 25, the final matches of the 1/4 finals of the Volleyball Cup of Ukraine among women’s teams took place, based on the results of which the first semi-finalists of the tournament were determined.

In the main sensation of the day, the “Medea” team from Kholmko (Higher League) defeated “Halychanka” (Super League) from Ternopil – 3:0. This is the first ever success of “Medea” at this stage of the competition.

“Halychanka” (Ternopil) – “Medea” (Kholmok) – 0:3 (19:25, 20:25, 22:25)

In the second quarter-final, “Bukovinka” easily defeated “Ryssya” from Stryi – also 3:0. As part of the Chernivtsi team, Maria Protsenko and Olga Kachur were the most effective, each scored 14 points.

“Rys” (Stry) – “Bukovinka” (Chernivtsi) – 0:3 (15:25, 15:25, 19:25)

In the semi-finals, “Medea” will play against the current champions of the Super League, “Bukovinka”, and in another confrontation for a ticket to the final, “Balta” and “Dobrdiy” will meet

The final round of the Cup of Ukraine will be held on February 13-15.
