The second victory at the tournament was won by the national team of Armenia, beating the Czech Republic with a score of 5:4, and scored the maximum six points. Thanks to this, Armenia guaranteed itself participation in the 1/4 finals, because this team will not drop below the second place in the group.
Ukraine will not be able to take the first place in the quartet due to the defeat in the face-to-face match with Armenia (1:2). Even in case of victories in the next two matches, the Ukrainian team will be able to claim only second place.
In the first round, Ukraine lost to Armenia (1:2), and Lithuania and the Czech Republic drew (3:3).
In the second round, Ukraine will meet in Kaunas with the hosts of the venue, the Lithuanian national team. The match will be held on Sunday, January 25, at the “Zhalgiris” arena. The meeting starts at 17:00 Kyiv time.
In Group B at Euro-2026, the Ukrainian team will also play against the Czech Republic on January 28 in Riga. The two best teams from each group will advance to the quarterfinals.
