On Sunday, January 25, 2026, cloudy weather with light precipitation in the form of snow is forecast on the territory of Ukraine, which will change to rain in some places in the west and south.
According to the Ukrhydrometeorological center, moderate snow is expected in the central regions, while in Odesa, Mykolaiv and western regions, wet snow and ice may stick.
The temperature regime will vary significantly depending on the region: in the northeast and east, it will be quite cold during the day, from 7 to 12 degrees of frost, while in Transcarpathia, Odesa and Crimea, the air will warm up to 1-6 degrees. In the rest of the country, thermometers will show from 4 to 9 degrees below zero, and in the south and west, the temperature will range from minus 4 to plus 1 degree.
It will also be cloudy with a little snow in the capital and Kyiv region today, and 5 to 7 degrees of frost is expected in Kyiv during the day. Across the country, winds will prevail from the southeast at a speed of 5-10 meters per second, and roads will remain icy everywhere, requiring special attention from drivers. While Russia continues to commit war crimes and shell Ukrainian cities, weather conditions are becoming an additional challenge for the operation of the energy system and utility services. The authorities call on citizens to be careful, as the aggression carried out by the Russian Federation is often accompanied by attacks precisely during periods of difficult meteorological conditions to increase pressure on the civilian population.
