“I met with volunteer Serhii Sternenko. He recently had a conversation with the President – we are deepening cooperation to fulfill the tasks. From now on, Serhii will be my adviser on increasing the use of UAVs at the front. His experience will help us realize the common vision of increasing the efficiency of unmanned units,” he wrote.
According to him, there are several tracks that the Ministry of Defense needs to work on now.
“The first is the basic supply of drone units. The supply also needs to be systematized – the military must receive effective weapons that work here and now. Another focus is analytics and efficiency. This is where Sergey’s expertise will help. Currently, only 50 units out of 400 provide about 70% of all enemy hits,” Fedorov added.
The minister claims that their goal is to help the other 350 grow quickly and greatly increase the scale of the destruction of the Russians:
“Additional training, analysis of operations, exchange of experience – we will improve all processes, relying on high-quality data from the front and feedback from the military.”

Attempt on SternenkoOn May 1, an attempt was made on Sternenko with a firearm. Thanks to the professional and immediate actions of the SBU employees, the attacker was arrested on the spot. Later, the volunteer was operated on and he hinted that Russia was probably involved in the attack.
