Legendary French striker Thierry Henry has expressed his support for Real Madrid players who were booed by their own fans during matches at the Santiago Bernabeu.

“It happened to me in Barcelona. In such clubs, you are judged for what you don’t do, not for what you did,” said Henri.

The Frenchman added that the incident with Vinicius gained too much publicity:

“The fans were booing everybody. It just made a whole story out of Vinicius. They let you know when they’re unhappy. It doesn’t matter what you want. When they’re unhappy, they show it.”

Henri emphasized that pressure in big clubs is a common thing:

“In big teams you always feel expectations. Sometimes you do everything right and the fans are still unhappy. It’s difficult, but it’s part of professional life. The main thing is to keep working and showing your qualities on the field, despite the noise from the stands.”

It will be recalled that recently before the match between Real and Levante, the fans booed Vinicius and Bellingham harshly.
