It is because of this that forecasters predict more clouds, precipitation and more noticeable strengthening of the wind. The weather will be contrasting: somewhere there will be snow, and somewhere there may be no precipitation at all.
On Friday, January 23, snow and sleet are expected in the west, in places in the south, as well as in the northern and central regions. At the same time, the east and northeast can spend a day without precipitation, but with a characteristic winter cold.
The wind is mainly south-easterly – moderate, but sometimes gusty, so it will be more unpleasant in open areas.
The temperature pattern will remain winter, but already with a hint of changes. -6…-12 is forecast for the next night, and in the north in some places up to -14.
During the day -2…-7 is expected, in the south -1…+2, and in the Crimea the air may warm up to +5. Such “swings” increase the risk of slippery roads and local icing.
In Kyiv on January 23, it will be cloudy, a little snow is possible, and the southeast wind is forecast to be gusty and uncomfortable.
According to weather forecasters, it will be cold in the range of -5…-7 for several days, but the night frosts no longer look as sharp as before.
