According to the version of the investigation, those involved acted on the instructions of the curators and systematically collected information that could be useful for attacks on the infrastructure. They are currently charged with treason under martial law.
Investigators claim that the suspects purposefully “calculated” military and critically important objects in the west of the country. These are, in particular, airports, railway crossings and other points important for logistics and defense.
Objects were photographed, coordinates and accompanying details were recorded, after which everything was transmitted through one of the messengers.
A separate task, according to the materials of the proceedings, was the collection of information about the place of impact of the Oreshnik ballistic missile in the Lviv region.
The 22-year-old suspect was detained in Lviv — according to law enforcement officers, directly during the filming of objects on the territory of the local airport.
The investigation indicates that he followed the clear instructions of the curators and moved through various areas of the western region, conducting surveillance.
The second figure, a 63-year-old man who is called a “recruiter”, was detained in Mukachevo. Law enforcement officers are checking whether this chain had a wider network of contacts.
We will remind you that a suspect in setting fire to a military car was detained in Kyiv.
The SBU also exposed the first deputy head of the Kyiv RDA for organizing schemes for evaders.
