Details: The European Commission announced the details of the budget for humanitarian aid from the EU in 2026, the total amount of which is 1.9 billion euros, of which 145 million are provided for Ukraine.

It is about aid in the form of food and temporary housing, aid in the field of children’s health care, support projects for the most vulnerable categories of the population, children’s educational projects.
8 million in the budget is provided for Moldova.
The largest sums are pledged for humanitarian aid to various regions of Africa and the countries of the Middle East, including the Gaza Strip.
More than 415 million are reserved for unforeseen emergencies.
As you know, Ukraine also receives humanitarian aid from European countries within the framework of bilateral cooperation, which can be provided directly, or through the EU Civil Protection Mechanism, or projects implemented by international organizations.
It will be recalled that on Wednesday the Minister of Foreign Affairs Andrii Sybiga told the chief diplomat of the EU about the urgent needs of Ukraine against the background of the energy crisis.
A number of other countries announced additional energy aid to Ukraine, and the Polish collection “for heat for Kyiv” crossed the 5 million zlotys mark.
