The sources of “Ukrainian Pravda” reported that in the evening of October 28 Trukhanov received suspicion from the police.
On October 29, the details became officially known. Due to the flood, which took the lives of nine people in Odesa, the National Police announced suspicion of official negligence against the ex-mayor of the city, Gennady Trukhanov, and officials of the Odesa City Council and the utility company, a total of nine persons involved.
The former head of Odessa himself said that the announced suspicion was a “surprise” for him.
