Direct speech: “I believe that they (Zelensky and Putin – UP) are now at the stage where they can unite and make an agreement. And if they don’t, then they are stupid…

I know they’re not stupid, but if they don’t, they’re stupid. So I don’t mean to offend anyone, but you have to make this deal. Too many people are dying. It’s not worth it.”
Details: The US president recalled that he had “settled more than eight wars”, and some of them “in a matter of hours”. At the same time, Trump complained, he thought that the Ukrainian-Russian war would be one of the easiest, but he was wrong.
The American leader also noted that there is “huge” and “abnormal” hatred between Zelensky and Putin, and this is “not good for settlement.” But, according to Trump, the US negotiating delegation led by Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner “are working hard on this.”
Direct speech: “And we’re going to try to make a deal. I think Steve, I’d say we’re pretty close.”
