In the coming days, the lowest temperatures are predicted in Ukraine, in particular in the west, north and northeast of the country.
According to weather forecaster Natalia Ptuha in an interview with “Glavkom” at night the thermometers can drop to -20°C, while during the day temperatures in most regions will vary from -4 to -11°C.
In the south and Transcarpathia, the cold will be less noticeable, with temperatures down to -5°C during the day.
“In the south of the country and Transcarpathia, the cold will be less noticeable – during the day the temperature will range from 0 to -5°. And already on January 22 in Ukraine, we are forecasting the easing of frost by 2-4 degrees,” said Ptukha.
“In the night and morning hours of January 21, fogs with visibility of 200-500 meters are possible in almost the entire territory of Ukraine, except for the northwest and southeast. There will be ice on the roads in many regions, so you should be especially careful,” the forecaster emphasized.
Heavy blizzards or stormy winds are not expected in the near future. However, in the period from January 22 to 24, small snowfalls are possible – first in the western regions, and later in most of the territory of Ukraine.
A gradual easing of frost is expected, which will be significant for residents of many regions of Ukraine.
