The only boxer Usyk does not like returns to the ring at the age of 41

Former world champion according to the version of the WBO in the first heavyweight Marco Hook (43–5–1, 28 KOs) will fight at the age of 41. This was reported by the authoritative publication BILD.

The representative of Germany will enter the ring of the “Gerry Weber” arena in Halle (North Rhine-Westphalia). The fight will take place on February 14, Marko’s promoters continue to search for an opponent.

Hook is known to Ukrainian fans for his fight against Oleksandr Usyk in the quarterfinals of the World Boxing Super Series (WBSS), which took place in 2017.

Usyk stopped his opponent in the tenth round, the judges recorded the victory by technical knockout. Later, the Ukrainian boxer admitted that Marko is the only opponent in his career whom he does not like.

Over the past five years, Hook has had only one fight – in June 2024, he defeated Evgenios Lazaridis (Greece) by unanimous decision in the super heavyweight limit.
