The Catalan club is considering the possibility of strengthening the goalkeeper position with 30-year-old Alec Remiro from Real Sociedad. This decision is related to the potential departure of Marc-Andre ter Stegen and the desire to increase competition between goalkeepers.

In the current season, Remiro played 20 matches, conceding 28 goals, one “dry” match.

Last season, the goalkeeper’s release clause was 50 million euros, which made his transfer much more difficult. However, the situation has changed: there is only a year and a half left on the contract, so his price could drop below 10 million euros.
