As reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Turin court rejected the Italian club’s appeal, upholding the previous decision in favor of the Portuguese forward. Including accrued interest, the total amount of payments for Ronaldo will be 11 million euros. In addition, Juventus is obliged to fully cover the court costs.
It will be recalled that in 2024, the court partially satisfied Ronaldo’s lawsuit, establishing compensation in the amount of 9.8 million euros. The management of the “old signora” tried to appeal this decision, but the appellate court sided with the winner of five Golden Balls.
It is noted that the lost case will not have a significant impact on the financial stability of the Turin club. Currently, Juventus is fifth in the Serie A standings with 39 points.
Cristiano Ronaldo defended the colors of Juventus from 2018 to 2021. During this period, the Portuguese played 134 matches, in which he scored 101 goals and provided 28 assists. After that, the forward returned to Manchester United, and now plays for Saudi An-Nasr, where he has already scored 16 goals in 19 matches in the 2025/26 season, confidently approaching the 1,000 career goal mark.
