This is not just the growth of technology, this is a fundamental shift: human rights protection is becoming a topic that from now on is not only about courts and lawyers, but also about digital automated tools. In this process, a special place is occupied by the project of Philip Ferentz, an entrepreneur, lawyer and innovator, who is creating the Consumer Protect AI LLC platform to put AI to work to protect ordinary people.

Philip’s career path combines practical experience and technological thinking. In Ukraine, for more than five years, he represented the interests of corporate and private clients in hundreds of civil, commercial and labor law cases, advised on compliance issues, and implemented the first automation tools to protect consumer rights. In the US, Philip continued this line by founding Consumer Protect AI LLC, a platform that uses algorithms to analyze contracts and prevent potential disputes before they arise.

“My motivation has always been simple,” says Philip. “People sign contracts without understanding the terms. This is especially critical in digital and service services: hidden payments, automatic debits, opaque rules. I wanted to create a tool that would protect them upfront.” The platform allows you to automatically detect risks, suggest safe formulations and accompany the user through a clear interface, including voice prompts and visual instructions.

In 2024, he became a laureate of the American National Quality Mark Award, and his research and publications find a response among colleagues: Philip is a member of The Ventures Club association, participates in the work of the jury of Astraglobal Technologies and sits on the editorial board of a scientific journal. According to the team’s predictions, the platform is capable of processing more than 20,000 requests annually and preventing millions of dollars of potential losses in the service and digital services industry.

The platform is adapted for vulnerable categories: pensioners, immigrants and persons with limited access to legal services. Philip emphasizes: “The experience of working in Ukraine, in conditions of instability, taught me to quickly adapt and find systemic solutions. In the US, the market is more structured, but the problems of consumers remain the same – and AI allows them to be solved on a large scale.” His practice shows that the combination of deep legal experience and technological tools can transform the approach to consumer protection and create new standards in the industry.

Thus, Philip Ferentz’s work is an example of how digital transformation and AI go beyond process efficiency and become a tool for real social protection. Its activities illustrate a new paradigm of legal services: active prevention, availability and automation where traditional methods are insufficient. Combined with the recognition of the professional community and scientific activity, this makes Pylyp one of the key experts at the intersection of law and technology.

For now, Ferenc is focused on scaling his project. It forges partnerships with marketplaces, consumer protection bodies and NGOs so that the platform reaches those who find it difficult to protect their rights without technology. For him, working on Consumer Protect AI is not an entrepreneurial challenge, but a mission: to empower every person to understand what they are signing, and to provide a tool that warns against legal threats before they become a problem. In this sense, his project is not just a legal innovation, but a step towards a just digital society where automation helps, not replaces, human justice.
