The other day, the artist published a video on her TikTok account in which she sings a song with the following words: “We don’t have light, but we have heat; we don’t have heat, but we have kindness. We don’t have water, but we have us. I have you, you have me. We are together, we are a family.” At a time when the energy system suffers more than ever, not everyone appreciated the track:
“Tina, are you mocking me? Tell that to the military! Of course, when you have a lot of money, you can go to a warm country and take your son there.”
“I buried my career.”
“They really think that our people will swallow everything.”
“Which audience is this hit intended for?”.
“Well, no one has openly mocked us like that.”
Karol reminded in her Telegram channel that this song is already two years old, it was released by Danylo Horodetskyi in the spring of 2023. The singer says that she just wanted to “at least add a little light to her soul”:
“It’s cold, unpleasant and sad for absolutely everyone! The message is about human warmth! Yes, I have a generator. And I fuel it with my own funds. And it’s expensive, like everyone else – we’re fighting the crisis. All the comments that the song was ordered by the authorities are completely stupid!”.
