WTA ranking. During the Australian Open: what are the places for Ukrainian tennis players?

On January 19, the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) updated the world ranking after the WTA 500 in Adelaide and WTA 250 in Auckland, as well as during the Australian Open 2026.

The first racket of Ukraine, Elina Svitolina, remained in the 12th position. She missed the previous week, as did Marta Kostiuk, who rounds out the top 20.

Dayana Yastremska left the top five in Adelaide in the first round and dropped to the 28th place in the updated ranking. She was overtaken by Hobart finalist Iva Jovich.

Oleksandra Oliinikova, Angelina Kalinina, Anastasia Soboleva also lost a couple of seats. Katarina Zavatska added three lines.

Ukrainian women in the WTA ranking

There was only one change in the top 10: Adelaide champion Mirra Andreeva overtook Jasmin Paolini to seventh place.

Arina Sobolenko remains the first racket, followed by Iga Svyontek, Coco Goff, Amanda Anisimova and Jessica Pegula.

The winner of the competition in Hobart, Elisabetta Coccharetto, added 24 positions and is now on the 56th row.

Top 10 of the WTA rating

In the WTA doubles ranking, the first racket of Ukraine Lyudmila Kichenok rose two places and is now in the 25th position.

Her sister – Nadiya Kichenok – improved one position and is on the 45th step. Marta Kostyuk is also in the top 100 – she is the 90th.
