Stocks of local vegetables are decreasing, due to which potato prices have risen by almost a third – now 12-14 hryvnias/kg against 9-12 hryvnias/kg last week.
Analysts of the EastFruit project note that among the vegetables of the borscht set, the price of white cabbage also increased by 1 hryvnia – from 8-10 to 9-11 hryvnias/kg. On the other hand, onions have become cheaper – from UAH 7-9 to UAH 5-7/kg.
Cauliflower has also significantly increased in price, which is now traded at 50-60 hryvnias per kilogram compared to 35-45 hryvnias/kg a week before. The cost of the remaining types of cabbage has not changed.
The price of red tomatoes increased by UAH 10 – from UAH 80-100 to UAH 90-110/kg. At the same time, the price range for cucumbers grew and expanded even more significantly – from UAH 125-140 to UAH 130-180/kg.
In the fruit segment, pears rose in price – from UAH 25-55 to UAH 30-55/kg, and grapes – from UAH 70-130 to UAH 80-170/kg. But the prices of oranges and mandarins were moving downwards. Oranges are sold at UAH 70-110/kg compared to UAH 75-120/kg a week before. Mandarins, on the other hand, fell in price from UAH 75-185 to UAH 65-95/kg.
The Ministry of Economy assures that there is no shortage of goods and there is no hype in stores.
