Svyridenko announced an agreement with the Czech Republic on technical and financial cooperation

Prime Minister Yulia Svyridenko held a meeting with Czech President Petr Pavel during his visit to Ukraine on January 16.

She said that she thanked the Czech Republic for its military and humanitarian support. In particular, within the framework of the Ukraine Facility program, the Czech Republic will continue the modernization of Ukrainian hospitals, primarily in the frontline regions.

According to Svyridenko, six cogeneration plants with a total capacity of 1.45 megawatts provided by the Czech Republic are operating in the Kharkiv region and provide uninterrupted heat supply to Chuguyev. Two more cogeneration units are in the process of being connected to the city hospital.

“In the near future, we plan to sign an intergovernmental agreement on technical and financial cooperation, which will mutually strengthen our countries. We have already developed formats that have proven their effectiveness, in particular, joint consultations of governments and an intergovernmental commission on economic, industrial, and scientific-technical cooperation,” the head of government said.

The President of the Czech Republic Petr Pavel, who is visiting Ukraine, on the morning of January 16 arrived in Kyiv. The day before, he visited Lviv.
