On Saturday, January 17, the legend of Ukrainian boxing turned 39 years old Oleksandr Usyk – three-time absolute world champion.
Legendary coach Teddy Atlaswho once trained Mike Tyson, congratulated Alexander.
“Congratulations on the birthday of the great Oleksandr Usyk. Boxing is always led by heavyweights – whether today or yesterday. And what a fighter he is – at the age of 39, he continues to lead everyone behind him 🎉🙏,” Atlas wrote on Instagram.
Oleksandr was born in 1987 in Simferopol, and spent most of his childhood in Chernihiv Oblast. In his private life, Usyk is a family man: together with his wife Kateryna, he raises four children – two sons and two daughters.
