Ukrainian tennis player Lyudmila Kichenok played in the doubles final of the WTA 500 hard tournament in Adelaide, Australia.
In the match for the trophy, the Ukrainian and her partner Desiree Kravchyk (USA) lost in two sets to the tandem of Kateryna Sinyakova (Czech Republic) / Zhang Shuai (China) with a score of 1:6, 4:6.
For reaching the finals, Kichenok and Kravchik together earned $37,400 (each received $18,700). Event champions Sinyakova and Zhang earned $61,540 ($30,770 each).
In addition to Kichenok, Ukraine was also represented at the quincentenary in Adelaide by Dayana Yastremska. She left singles in the first round and took home a check for $11,250.
