Details: The American president, commenting on the issue of drug tariffs, mentioned Greenland.

Trump has indicated that he may impose tariffs against those countries that do not agree with his position that the US should govern the island.
“I can impose tariffs on countries if they don’t agree with Greenland, because we need Greenland for national security. I can do that,” the US president said.
We will remind, this week a number of European countries announced that they are sending their troops to Greenland. This happened against the background of statements by the US president that the Danish defense of Greenland – it’s “two dog sleds”.
The White House announced the day before that the placement of troops from European countries in Greenland will not affect plans of President Trump regarding control of the island.
And the Minister of Defense of Germany Boris Pistorius said that he does not expect capture of Greenland by the United States despite the threats of US President Donald Trump.
