The state institution “National Military Memorial Cemetery” confirmed that Volodymyr Petrov, the host of the “Iceland” YouTube channel, holds the position of a leading specialist of the department of communications and information technologies.

Previously, People’s Deputy Yaroslav Zheleznyak stated that Petrov and channel co-host Serhiy Ivanov allegedly received “bookings” from structures close to the authorities, and that Petrov has been an employee of NVMK since the summer with a booking until January 21, 2026. The deputy announced an appeal to the law enforcement officers.
The court chose a preventive measure for Yulia Tymoshenko in the form of bail in the amount of over 33 million hryvnias.
