“There are a number of painful concessions that Ukraine has to make and is ready to make if it leads to peace. Russia will push back until we start acting together. We have to put pressure. And this pressure can be economic and political. We have to work in a coordinated manner with the US,” Pavel said.
Peace talks: important newsDuring the briefing, President Volodymyr Zelenskyi said that Ukraine “worked very well” with the United States in terms of peace negotiations. At the same time, he stated that Ukraine and the USA are “not on the same side” in some issues regarding the end of the war.
At the same time, Republican Senator Lindsey Graham said that the US does not want to end the war in Ukraine by rewarding the aggressor. According to him, Trump wants a “dignified and fair” end to the war.
Instead, representatives of the European expert environment believe that, despite diplomatic efforts, there are currently no prerequisites for final peace. Among such conditions could be a ceasefire and a desire to end the war on the part of Russia.
