The police officer made the first fictitious resolution on December 2, 2021. In the documents, he indicated that the resident of the village of Privitne was allegedly intoxicated in a public place and smoked, for which he received a warning. In fact, there was no such violation.

The following administrative materials were drawn up by the law enforcement officer during December 2021 – July 2022. In general, all the violations he invented were of a similar nature: smoking in prohibited places, being drunk or playing loud music in public places. The policeman only changed addresses and individual details, including cigarette brands.

In court, the defendant admitted that he resorted to such actions in order to improve his official performance, and repented of what he had done.

Judge Svitlana Maslyana found the policeman guilty under Part 1 of Art. 366 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (official forgery), Part 1 and Part 3 of Art. 362 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (unauthorized actions with information processed in computer systems).

Tymchuk was fined 34,000 hryvnias and banned from holding any positions in law enforcement agencies for three years. The verdict can still be appealed.
