“The self-proclaimed president of Belarus, Oleksandr Lukashenko, ordered a large-scale inspection of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus.”, — write: www.pravda.com.ua
Source: Oleksandr Volfovych, secretary of the Security Council of the Republic of Belarus, quoted by the state news agency BelTA, the Belarusian service “Radio Liberty”
Volfovych’s direct speech: “…a large-scale review of the Armed Forces has begun. It will be complex in nature and will consist of several stages. The review measures are of a sudden nature.”

Details: According to him, the inspection is being conducted taking into account the experience of the “special military operation” and its implementation in the armed forces (this is how Russian and Belarusian propaganda calls Russia’s war against Ukraine, in which the Belarusian authorities are helping Moscow).
During the exercises, the security of military units and countermeasures against modern means of warfare, including unmanned aerial vehicles, will be tested.
Volfovych added that Oleksandr Lukashenko approved the exercise plan and “will personally take part in the inspection.”
The current inspection was preceded by joint staff exercises of the Belarusian armed forces, which were held from January 13 to 16 under the leadership of the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus Pavel Muraveik.
The previous large-scale surprise inspection of the Armed Forces took place in October last year, notes “Radio Svaboda”.
We will remind: Oleksandr Lukashenka’s regime is constantly holding drills, exercises and meetings amid worsening relations with the West and Russia’s full-scale war against Ukraine, in which official Minsk supports the Kremlin.
