1,370 invaders were destroyed in a day: the General Staff provided fresh data on Russian losses on January 16

According to information on January 16, 2026, the Ukrainian military destroyed 1,370 invaders during the day, and the total losses of the Russian Federation reached more than 1,224,000 people. It was also 48 artillery pieces and 527 UAVs were damaged.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine published fresh information on the losses of the Russian occupation forces. According to data on the morning of January 16, 2026, the total number of liquidated enemy personnel exceeded 1,224,000 people. It informs UNN.

Details Over the past day, the Defense Forces of Ukraine neutralized another 1,370 invaders. It is worth noting the significant number of damaged artillery – in 24 hours, the enemy lost 48 artillery installations.

The cumulative combat losses of the enemy from 24.02.22 to 16.01.26 approximately amount to:

• personnel – about 1,224,460 (+1,370) people;

• tanks – 11,563 (+6) units;

• artillery systems – 36,230 (+48) units;

• UAVs of the operational-tactical level – 107,884 (+527) units;

• automotive equipment and tank trucks – 74,486 (+180) units;

• armored combat vehicles – 23,908 (+4) units;

• RSZV – 1,614 (+3) units;

• special equipment – 4,044 (+2) units.

The situation in the sky and at sea The aviation (434 aircraft and 347 helicopters) and fleet (28 ships/boats and 2 submarines) loss figures have not changed over the past day. At the same time, the activity of enemy unmanned aerial vehicles remains extremely high: 527 drones of various types were shot down during the day.

Information on losses is constantly updated, as the intensity of hostilities in the east and south of Ukraine remains at a high level.
