Details: Kryvonos once again emphasized that in November 2025, the workplace of the then head of the OP Yermak was not searched. Also, referring to the secrecy of the pre-trial investigation, he did not answer whether Yermak was searched after that, or whether there were other investigative actions.

He was also asked if it was true that Yermak’s driver was searched, to which Kryvonos replied: “I cannot comment on this, we did not confirm this.” He also did not answer whether NABU knows where Yermak is. “This information constitutes a pre-trial investigation. This is not the subject of consideration by the TSK. This is a private person,” he said. Krivonos also said that the suspicion was not announced to the former head of the OP.

NABU detective Oleksandr Abakumov, who was present at the TSK meeting, said that the investigation is operating within the procedural time limit.

Abakumov’s direct speech: “The pre-trial investigation is being carried out. There is a procedural period stipulated by law for this, the maximum, if it is not stopped, is 12 months. We are taking all the necessary investigative actions to objectively fully investigate this procedural proceeding in order to reach a logical conclusion: about the absence or presence of a crime in the specific persons we are investigating, so it is too early to say whether something will happen (Yermak’s suspicion – ed.) or not.”

Details: Also, the director of NABU said that the former Minister of Defense Rustem Umyerov does not have the status of a suspect in the “Mindych case”. “The very fact of the suspicion of influence on him does not indicate the nature of the crime in his actions. Regarding other episodes, we are conducting a pre-trial investigation. Currently, he (Umerov – ed.) does not have the status of a suspect or an accused.”
