Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk announced this on the X network.
“It was Russia that rejected the peace plan prepared by the United States, not the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyi,” Tusk emphasized.
As the Polish Prime Minister noted, Russia’s only response was further missile attacks on Ukrainian cities.
“For this reason, the only solution is to increase the pressure on Russia. And you all know it,” added Tusk.
Aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine: the latest newsAs UNIAN reported, the head of the White House Trump claimed in an interview for Reuters that the alleged initiator of the war, Russian dictator Vladimir Putin, “is ready to conclude an agreement.” At the same time, according to the US president, Ukraine is allegedly less ready to conclude such an agreement. Trump also said that Zelensky allegedly prevented the end of the largest land war in Europe since the Second World War.
Meanwhile, regular Russian air strikes with missiles and drones have led to significant destruction of Ukrainian critical infrastructure facilities, which are designed to provide heat and light to the homes of Ukrainian citizens. A state of emergency is being introduced in the energy industry of Ukraine.
As of January 14, about 400 high-rise buildings remained without heating in Kyiv alone.
