Direct speech: “What kind of “intensity” in the work in Kyiv in an emergency situation does the president not see, in particular, in recent days, as he said?
Advertising:
When after a devastating attack, out of six thousand houses without heat in a few days, about 400 remain? When utility workers repair critical infrastructure damaged by the enemy around the clock in the bitter cold in order to return heat and water to people? When the energy workers try, also working 24/7, to return the light to the homes of Kyiv residents at least for a few hours?”.
Details: The mayor noted that such statements, first of all, nullify the dedicated work of thousands of people and specialists.
Direct speech: “Meanwhile, there is a lot of hate. Ah, Klitschko advised those who have the opportunity to move out of the city. So that they don’t freeze. Without light and heat. Those who have the opportunity to leave temporarily.
At least I speak honestly and warn people about a very difficult situation. And I don’t care about any ratings and ghostly elections.”
Details: Klitschko stated that in this emergency situation, he, as the mayor, all city services are doing everything to maintain the life support of the city (as in the first days and weeks of a full-scale war).
He added that he answers to the president publicly, because “over the past 4 years, you and I have, unfortunately, never met in person, Mr. President…”
