Details: Alina Podreyko, spokeswoman for the police of the Lviv region, told the publication that no one was injured as a result of the incident. A special police operation is currently underway.

The communication department of the police of the Lviv region reported that around 10:00 a.m. at the intersection of Lesya Ukrainka and Nebesnaya Sotna streets in the village of Rudno, the driver of a Volkswagen Passat fired several shots at a Volkswagen Transporter and military personnel of the RTCC, who were carrying out alerting measures. After that, the Volkswagen Passat driver disappeared from the scene.

The minibus of military personnel of the RTCC, who were carrying out notification measures, received technical damage.

Based on this fact, the investigators of the Police Department No. 1 of the Lviv District Police Department No. 2 initiated criminal proceedings under Part 4 of Art. 296 (Hooliganism) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The sanction of the article provides for punishment – deprivation of liberty for a term of three to seven years.

The police are taking measures to establish the location and arrest the perpetrator.
