Last winter, Kvasnytsia joined Carpathians on loan, but due to limited playing time in Władysław Lupashko’s squad, he was unable to establish himself in the starting line-up. In the first half of the season, he played for Rukh, playing 14 matches, scoring one goal and making one assist.
With this transfer, Kvasnytsia became the fourth player who moved from Rukh to the Carpathians this season. Earlier, the Lviv club signed Vitaly Kholod, Rostyslav Liakh and Mark Sapuga.
At the time of the winter break, both teams had 19 points each and shared 9-10 places in the UPL standings.
