The experienced defender of Metalist 1925 was invited to play in the First League

Defender of Kharkiv “Metalista 1925” Evgeny Pasich will not take part in the training sessions according to the decision of the head coach Mladen Bartulovych.

The Ukrainian Premier League club does not count on the 32-year-old footballer, whose contract expires at the end of the 2025/26 season.

According to UA-Football, “Phoenix-Mariupol”, which plays in the second strongest division of the championship of Ukraine, is interested in Pasich’s services. The sports director of the team, Bohdan Kogut, has already contacted the player and discussed possible cooperation.

Pasic played eight matches in the current campaign, in which he recorded one assist. The Transfermarkt portal estimates the defender at 150,000 euros.

“Phoenix-Mariupol” scored 16 points and occupies the 14th place in the tournament table. In the next match, Maksym Feschuk’s team will play against Chernihiv in the 1/4 finals of the Cup of Ukraine.
