Details: At the meeting on Saturday, Pellegrini, Fico and Rashi discussed the main issues concerning the interests of Slovakia in the domestic and foreign arena.

According to Pellegrini, the meeting confirmed that “the three highest constitutional figures together can discuss all issues very openly, constructively and pragmatically.”
According to him, the politicians agreed that Slovakia should have a representative at the negotiations of the “coalition of the determined” regarding Ukraine, while Slovakia’s position remains unchanged: the country will not continue to militarily support Ukraine, will not send any soldiers and will not participate in the guarantees of a loan from the EU for 90 billion euros.
We will remind: Robert Fico recently criticized the meeting of the “coalition of the determined” in Paris, but said he could imagine Slovakia’s participation in monitoring the peace deal if it is concluded.
It will be recalled that the members of the “coalition of the determined”, Ukraine and the United States of America concluded a joint declaration on security guarantees for a stable and lasting peace in Ukraine.
Also, the “coalition of the determined” decided to create a special coordination center in Paris in the format “USA – Ukraine – coalition of the determined”, which will be responsible for security guarantees to Ukraine from the Western allies.
